He was the best friend of Conor's father. Unfortunately,
when Conor's father, along with the rest of the village was
massacred, Fergus, had passed out from too many cups of ale,
in the ale cellar. He cannot forgive himself for not being
there, but as a way to right it as best he can, he has made a
vow to always be there for Conor, and protect him as best he can.
John Saint Ryan plays Champion warrior and ladies man Fergus on
Roar. Not much has been printed about him. I figure
his age to be early to mid forties. He is very tall, at
least 6'. He is English, but currently resides in Los Angeles, Ca.
He has appeared in numerous television shows, including: The
Burning Zone, Murder She Wrote, EZ Streets, seaQuest
DSV, (I saw it, it was one of the lousier episodes...) and M.A.N.T.I.S.
He also had a role on the soap opera General Hospital. His movie credits
include: CIA II: Target Alexa, American Cyborg, and Delta Force III. On
stage, he was in Streetcar Named Desire, Look Back in Anger, and South
Pacific.
Most recently, he has appeared in several commercials for Energizer
batteries, and he played a plumber in an episode of
Cybil.
And for a personal touch, I happen to know that Fergus is my dad's favorite
charachter, and our
little westie/scotty mix puppy's name is Fergus.
